Architectural Review & Approval Process

Ensuring the beauty and consistency of our community is a priority. Any exterior modifications, additions, or new construction must be reviewed and approved before work begins as stated in the Stonehenge Reserve HOA Bylaws.

What Requires Approval?

The following modifications require prior approval from the HOA:

  • New Construction – Any improvement requiring a permit from a government entity.

  • Exterior Changes – Painting, staining, siding, or any modifications to exterior materials, colors, or fixtures.

  • Structural Additions & Removals – Additions, demolitions, fences, walls, garages, patios, and decks.

  • Outdoor Structures – Sheds, playhouses, storage buildings, fireplaces, grills, pergolas, gazebos, and any roofed or enclosed structure.

  • Landscaping & Fencing – Installation of new fences and significant landscape modifications.

  • Lighting Installations – Outdoor lighting (excluding those installed completely within a home).

  • Mailboxes – Any new mailbox or support (unless replacing with a similar design).

  • Swimming Pools – No pool may be installed without prior approval.

How to Submit an Application

1. Complete an Architectural Review Application

  • Download the form from the HOA website or request a copy.

  • Include details such as materials, colors, dimensions, and a copy of the Manheim Township Permit, if required.

2. Provide Supporting Documents

  • Architectural plans and designs.

  • Site grading and landscape plans (if applicable).

  • Manheim Township Permit, if required.

3. Submit Your Application

  • Email your completed application to stonehengereserve@gmail.com

  • Applications are only considered officially received once written acknowledgment is provided by the HOA Board.

Review & Approval Process

  • The HOA Board will review applications for compliance with community standards and submit through the Architectural Review Committee.

  • A decision will be provided in writing.

  • Do not begin work before receiving official approval.
